GraphicaArtis LLC represents one of the most highly curated, visually compelling collections of heritage graphics and fine art available for licensing. Its thousands of works are relevant to both the commercial and editorial markets, and are of the highest visual and technical quality. Images in the collection are carefully selected based on decades of licensing experience, and include only those images with strong visuals and global licensing potential. This exceptional level of curation gives GraphicaArtis proven licensing power.
Works include a wide range of rare and unusual visual media, including pop graphics and kitsch of the 30s, 40s and 50s, prints and posters of the 19th and early 20th centuries, fine vintage photography, historical subjects, and artworks of all periods. Many years in the making, GraphicaArtis’ image archive is predominantly wholly-owned, but also features works from many third-party collections.
All images are of the highest digital quality with industry standard metadata. Files are available as 24-bit, 300 dpi uncompressed RGB tiff files ranging from 50-75 mB, and have been meticulously cleaned and processed. Complete metadata and keywording are available as embedded IPTC or via spreadsheet. In terms of underlying rights, all images have been screened and there are no known restrictions of any kind. Works are ready for immediate use by clients in all territories and for all types of projects.
The collection is currently represented for licensing by major agencies including Corbis Images, where it is a top-ten selling art contributor, Bridgeman Images, Getty Images, and Leemage. We also work with clients directly. GraphicaArtis images have been licensed worldwide for advertising, textbooks, tradebooks, web use, covers, magazines, product packaging, and posters, among others.
Our clients have included Penguin, A&E, Publicis, National Geographic, The Daily Mail, Pearson Education, ESPN, McGraw-Hill, Bloomberg, Oxford University Press, Microsoft, ABC, Condé Nast, and many others. Additional licensing channels and individual projects are always being considered.
